Players Compete

Each day of camp, kids boot up their computer, log into the EliteGamingLIVE platform and join camp right from their player profile.

  • A live broadcaster puts on a top-rated show
  • During the show, players learn about a careers and tech
  • Live trivia related to the career boosts players scores
Then They Learn

EliteGamingLIVE is not out to create pro gamers, we're out to create pros. In tech fields, trade fields and beyond.

  • Players will get access to that day's career on EGL Academy
  • If they complete it by the next day, they get XP boosts
  • Gamers and learners will be spotlighted on-show for their efforts

Everything you need to know

Who is EGL Summer Camp for?
Ages 8-16. It's designed for kids who love gaming and want a fun, structured way to compete, make friends, and explore tech-related careers -- no previous EGL experience required.
What do I need to participate?
Your child will need:

- A PC, laptop, Chromebook, or tablet
- A gaming console (Xbox Series X/S, or Playstation 5, or Nintendo Switch)
- An online multiplayer subscription for the console (Xbox Live, Playstation Plus, or Nintendo Online)
When is the camp and how long does it last each day?
You will select a 'week of camp' and a 'start time' during registration. Camp will last 3hrs per day.
What games will my child be playing?
We use a curated list of popular, age-appropriate games -- your child will be able to select a game each day of camp. The list of games includes Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Rocket League, NBA2K25, Minecraft and Roblox.
What if my child loses a match or isn't very competitive?
That's totally ok! At EGL, winning is the goal but effort is also rewarded -- players can earn LiveScore points and rewards even when they lose.
What happens after camp ends?
Campers walk away with:

- A Career Interest Profile
- Their earned LiveScore leaderboard status
- 50% off of Season XIV Club League (Fall 2025)
Is this a one-time fee?
Yes - the EGL Summer Camp is a flat $80 for the full day experience. There are no surprise fees or upsells. Additionally, signing up for Summer Camp gives new parents 50% off the first three months of EGL Club League.
What are LiveScore points and XP boosts?
LiveScore is EGL's official point system that rewards players for competing, learning, and showing up -- not just for winning.

Players earn different types of XP Boosts when they complete lessons on EGL Academy. These boosts are awarded to players in the form of Comp Cards, which players can use during EGL events and experiences.
